We believe in good planning, communication, transparency and hardwood.

In 2008, I set out to build a company that focused solely on delivering exclusive products followed by great experiences. We couldn’t rely on the legacy of past success through our original company established 17 years ago. Instead, we challenged the original formula and created a new approach and process.

We work hard, we laugh often, we become members of people’s families, we earn the trust of our clients and we exceed their expectations.

 


Steven Vasconcelos

I guess you can say, I started my career in the summer of 1994.  My father handed me a sander and said, “Start in that corner”! It was love at first site!

We went on to open our first location in 1999 where we sold Canadian wood flooring as well as providing installation and refinishing services.  In 2004 we moved to our new location in Woodbridge, ON and remain open for business today under -Madeira Hardwood Floors Ltd -

After receiving my Certified Wood Floor Inspector and Certified Sales Counselor Certification from the National Wood Flooring Association, I responded to the demand for a space where wood lovers could roam and find everything under one roof, leading to the creation of The Floor Studio Inc.  With the collaboration of our exclusive partners we continue to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.

I feel truly fortunate for the people I work with and more importantly my family’s love and support.
